Once you start working with us, you will likely need to send us pictures, product specifications, videos or other files. This article will detail which file formats we accept and how you can send them to us.
A file's format is the way that data is arranged inside of the file. You can usually tell a file's format on a PC by looking at its extension (the last 2-3 letters after the . in the file name). Please note that just changing the extension doesn't change the file format, and it only make it harder to deal with the file.
The best way to change a file's format is to open it up in a compatible program (usually the program you made/saved the file with) and save or export it in another format. Because of the many programs, file types and operating systems out there, we can only provide general advice:
Save As...if the program has it. Many times this will offer other file formats
Exportas an command, this may very well have many options for compatible file formats
This is a list of the most common formats we support when making your site. We may support others, and it is possible to have a file which meets these criteria, but due to age or other circumstances, can't be opened. This is just a general guideline. Formats in Bold are prefered formats.
